Mavs Looking For 10th Straight 50-Win Season
Since the NBA expanded to an 82-game schedule in 1967-68, only two teams have reached at least 50 victories 10 or more times in a row. The Lakers did it 12 straight times 1979-80 through 1990-91 and San Antonio has accomplished the feat 10 straight seasons entering this one. San Antonio's streak, however, may be in jeopardy. Gee appeared in 36 games for the Toros this season, averaging 21.0 points, 6.6 rebounds and 38.2 minutes, recording four double-doubles. He scored a season-high 34 points in a 127-94 victory over the Sioux Falls Skyforce on Jan. 6 in Austin. Gee returns to the NBA following a call-up to the Washington Wizards on March 7. In 11 games, two starts, for the Wizards, Gee averaged 7.4 points, 2.9 rebounds and 16.5 minutes. On March 26, Gee earned his first NBA start, scoring a career-high 19 points in a 107-96 loss at Charlotte.
