Garcia Suffers Setback In Return

Kings swingman Francisco Garcia has suffered a setback in his return from a broken right wrist.

He was expected to return in the coming days, but he's now taking a "day-to-day" approach because of a fall late in practice on Thursday.

"It gets sore," García said. "I practice good, but like yesterday (Thursday), I fell on my wrist and it's sore now ... I (can't return) until I feel fully confident that I can get out there and fall on the floor and I'm going to be OK."

Kings Unlikely To Make Play For Amar'e

Kings president Geoff Petrie says that he will consider any trade that would benefit the team, but Amar'e Stoudemire isn't a likely option.

"If there's something that makes sense for us, we'll take a hard look at it," Petrie said.

Two sources close to the Kings told the Sacramento Bee it would be "highly unlikely" that Stoudemire would re-sign with the team this summer.

Mavs Very Interested In Kevin Martin

Even though Sacramento continues to insist they do not want to deal Kevin Martin, the Mavericks show a serious interest in the shooting guard.

The Mavericks, according to NBA front-office sources, tell the Kings they want to hear from them if they change their position.

Sources close to the situation told ESPN.com that Dallas is now willing to include Josh Howard in a deal.
