Pacers Still Don't Have Diagnosis For Hansbrough

Tyler Hansbrough's latest problem is an inner ear infection and/or possible concussion, which has kept him sidelined for most of the past two-plus months. The Pacers aren't expecting him to return this season.

"It really is miserable for me to be dealing with this injury," Hansbrough said recently. "I've never had an injury like this where it's kept me out a long time. It's something I'm trying to get over and get healthy."

Hansbrough's current diagnosis remains a mystery.

The team has been calling it an inner ear infection since late December. Pacers coach Jim O'Brien said two weeks ago that it possibly could be a concussion, caused when Hansbrough took a hit in a game in Boston in late December.

"It could be a combination of those two. We're not really sure," Hansbrough said.

Pacers Will Be Without Granger Indefinitely

There is no timetable for Danny Granger's return to the Pacers.

Granger was released from the hospital after a CT scan on his head and neck taken Tuesday night came back negative.

"(The team's physicians will) evaluate him on a day-to-day basis," coach Jim O'Brien said. "If he's capable of going, he'll go, but you never know when somebody gets hit that hard in the head area."

Granger took an elbow to his cheek late in Tuesday's win over Charlotte.

T.J. Ford May Be In Charlotte's Future

The Pacers and Bobcats had talks about point guard T.J. Ford prior to February's trade deadline, but nothing ended up happening.

According to the Charlotte Observer, that doesn't mean Ford isn't in the Bobcats' future.

The Bobcats saw Ford as a safety net should Raymond Felton leave via unrestricted free agency this summer.

If talks with Felton get rough, perhaps Charlotte could re-engage talks with Indiana regarding Ford.
